Below are a few of my favorite birth-related resources. None of these are affiliate links, just places I personally love to go for research and support. Though these are a few of my favorite virtual resources, did you know I give all my clients access to my personal lending library of pregnancy and birth books?

Evidencebasedbirth.com is an excellent resource for seeing thorough, well-researched evidence pertaining to common pregnancy practices. It’s the most complete, comprehensive, and lay-accessible birth-research site I’ve found. Whether you are wondering what the research says about 39 week inductions, mothers of advanced maternal age, antidepressants during pregnancy, water births, etc. etc. this website covers a huge variety of topics and their library is free to browse.

Want a more comfortable pregnancy? Want to know your baby is in good positioning which can potentially make your labor that much easier? Well, spinningbabies.com is the place to go. Their website is chock-full of videos, articles, and how-to’s about helping your baby get in the perfect position, helping your body prepare for labor, and what you can do if someone is a little mis-aligned. It’s a perfect resource for anyone begging their later-term breech babe to turn already!

Kellymom.com is another great resource, especially for breastfeeding mamas. She gives detailed and well-supported information—most of the articles have already been published in peer-reviewed journals. Covering everything from mother’s nutrition, to treating thrush, to tandem nursing, it’s a great resource to have on hand.
